Single phase transformer is an electrical device used to change alternating current voltage. It transfers power from one circuit to another without changing its frequency, but may operate at different voltage levels.

Single-phase oil-immersed transformer Operating Principle :
  1. When an alternating current power supply is applied to the primary coil, current flows through the primary coil and generates a changing magnetic field.
  2. This changing magnetic field passes through the core and induces a voltage in the secondary coil, resulting in an induced electromotive force in the secondary coil.
  3. According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the magnitude of the induced electromotive force is proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic field. Therefore, the changing magnetic field caused by the current variation in the primary coil results in the generation of voltage in the secondary coil.
  4. Based on the turns ratio of the transformer, the voltage in the secondary coil is directly proportional to the voltage in the primary coil but inversely proportional to the ratio of the number of turns. By designing the turns ratio of the primary and secondary coils appropriately, effective conversion of input voltage to output voltage can be achieved.
  5. In this way, a single phase transformer can convert the input voltage into the desired output voltage, thereby achieving voltage regulation and energy conversion functions.
Single-phase oil-immersed transformer Product Structure:

Core: The core is the main structural component of a single phase transformer, usually made of silicon steel or iron oxide material. The core provides a magnetic path to concentrate the magnetic field within the coils to achieve electromagnetic induction.
Coils: A single-phase transformer includes a primary/input coil and a secondary/output coil. The primary coil is connected to the power source, generating a magnetic field that induces voltage in the secondary coil. Both coils are usually wound around the core to ensure efficient transfer of the magnetic field.

Insulation materials: Insulation materials are used to insulate the coils and the core to prevent electrical short circuits and insulation breakdown. Cooling system: Single phase transformers typically require a cooling system to dissipate heat and ensure that the transformer does not overheat during operation.

Single-phase oil-immersed transformer Product Advantages :

Simple and reliable: The structure of a single phase transformer is simple, reliable, and has low maintenance costs. Compared to other types of transformers, single phase transformers are designed to be simple, easy to install, and maintain.

Compact size: Single phase transformers are typically compact in size, making them suitable for installation in space-restricted areas such as residential, commercial, or industrial applications with small equipment. High efficiency: Single phase transformers have low power losses during the energy conversion process, providing efficient voltage conversion. This helps reduce energy waste and improve the efficiency of electrical systems.

Single-phase oil-immersed transformer Application Range:

Home and commercial use: Single phase transformers are commonly used in residential and commercial applications to regulate voltage for different electrical devices. For example, they are used to adjust the voltage for lighting fixtures, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, and other household appliances.

Industrial applications: In the industrial sector, single-phase transformers are often used for voltage regulation and power conversion in control systems, motors, lighting equipment, electronic devices, and more. For instance, they are used for electrical equipment on factory production lines, inverters, welding equipment, etc.

Telecommunications and communication sector: Single phase transformers also play an important role in the telecommunications and communication sector, providing power supply and voltage regulation for telecommunication base stations, communication equipment, wireless networks, etc.

Medical equipment: In the medical field, single-phase transformers are commonly used for medical equipment, diagnostic devices, medical power supplies, etc., to ensure stable operation and voltage regulation of the equipment.

Agricultural sector: Single-phase transformers are also used in the agricultural sector for voltage regulation and power conversion in agricultural equipment, irrigation systems, greenhouse equipment, etc.
