On January 15, the New Year, New Opportunities International Trade and Investment Promotion Conference was held in Beijing. Zhang Xiaogang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, led a delegation to the conference and presented the foreign trade development situation of Xuchang. Five companies, including Gloko Industrial Co., Ltd., Zhongtian Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., Aplai and New Materials Co., Ltd., Julong Technology Co., Ltd., and Fengwu Flour Co., Ltd., also attended the event. The conference attracted representatives from seven countries, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Nepal, and Finland, as well as nearly 60 overseas buyers.
As a representative of Xuchang enterprises, Zhongtian Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. participated in a closed-door meeting of the Silk Road Economic Belt Alliance and officially became a member of the alliance. During the cooperation signing segment,ZTelec signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kazakhstan Dam Industrial Park to deepen trade cooperation, while Julong Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kazakhstan Dafa Group regarding agricultural machinery exports. In the B2B matchmaking segment, Xuchang enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions with overseas buyers on trade cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, energy, logistics, and other fields.
Moving forward, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade will focus on the goal of building a high-quality economic and trade information exchange platform. They will work on two main lines: deeply participating in major economic and trade activities and enhancing comprehensive services for foreign trade. Key tasks include deepening engagement in overseas markets such as Central Asia, improving the quality and effectiveness of exhibition participation, empowering manufacturing enterprises to go global, and guiding foreign trade OEMs in upgrading their value chains, all to support the high-quality development of Xuchang's foreign economic and trade sector.
